Rising oil costs fuel concerns

Prime Minister Hubert Ingraham said yesterday conservation measures will likely have to be put in place as rising oil prices threaten to drive up the cost of gas and basic commodities.
“Domestic inflation remained benign in 2010, despite the moderate uptick in international oil and commodity prices,” said Ingraham as he presented the mid-year budget statement in the House of Assembly.
