JUST IN: Fire ravages Eleuthera school

An early morning fire at the North Eleuthera High School resulted in three of its rooms being completely destroyed, according to police. Police said they were notified of the incident shortly before 4:00am today. According to their reports, residents and volunteer firefighters responded and were able to contain the fire.

Toddler killed in car crash

A 15-month-old child was killed yesterday in a single-car crash on Eleuthera, police said. According to police, the driver of a green 2001 Nissan Sentra traveling north of Queens Highway lost control of the car and crashed into a utility pole around 10:30 a.m.
