Tourist seriously injured in another jet-ski accident

YET another accident involving a jet-ski has led to a tourist being seriously injured.

The man, from Louisiana, was admitted to hospital on Saturday following the accident in waters west of Cabbage Beach.

The incident occurred shortly after noon and involved a woman relative of the injured tourist.

According to police, the woman was operating another jet ski and collided with the victim.

Body believed 17-year-old jet ski disappearance man

A BODY found in shallow waters off Grand Bahama is believed to be that of a young man who disappeared on a jet ski on Friday.

Jet-ski operators yesterday defended their industry practices following the death of a tourist over the weekend.
