Man dies in hunting accident

A 39-year-old man was killed in Abaco during hog hunting when he was accidentally shot. According to sources on the island, Dubuisson was the last remaining witness in the 2010 murder of 36-year-old Stanley Saintville. Saintville was killed on December 6, 2010, just hours after he allegedly won $50,000 at an Abaco numbers house.

Neymour: Wilson City power plant 80% complete

Minister of State for the Environment Phenton Neymour yesterday revealed that the Bahamas Electricity Corporation's (BEC) controversial Wilson City Power Plant in Abaco is 80 percent complete.

The progress report came the same day government officials and the activist group Responsible Development For Abaco headed to court over the multimillion-dollar plant.
