A BABY died and two children managed to escape when their family home went up in flames on Saturday.
Police said the duplex in Domingo Heights, off East Street South, started before 11pm. When officers arrived they found the back of the single-storey duplex engulfed in flames.
Firefighters worked to control the blaze and then went in to search all five rooms of the home.
