Plans in progress for multi- purpose gymnasium for South Andros

A multi-purpose gymnasium is on the drawing board for South Andros. The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Works and Urban Development the Hon. Philip Davis outlined plans for the facility to be constructed at The Bluff at a cost of $500,000 during a stopover visit to the island recently.

Mangrove Cay High School scores high in National Arts Festival

Mangrove Cay High School students performing in the Choral Verse Speaking of the E Clement Bethel National Arts Festival adjudications scored big in Andros on April 14, 2010.

The students scored a 98 out of 100, one of the highest received so far this year in that dramatic class.
