Man pleads guilty to manslaughter

A man yesterday pleaded guilty to fatally shooting an acquaintance following an argument.
Fritznel Guillance, 23, was originally charged with the January 26, 2013 murder of Alfred Munroe.
But he pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter at the start of his trial before Justice Indra Charles and was sentenced to 18 years' imprisonment.

Forty-four-year-old Andre Cartwright died in his stepfather's arms early yesterday morning after he was gunned down during a home invasion in the Blair Estates community, loved ones said.
