Officials of the Ministry of Social Services and Community Development and the Department of Social Services will work closely with local vendors in Mayaguana and officials from the Bank of The Bahamas to ensure that qualified recipients of the Department?s Food Assistance Programme receive their Visa Pre-Paid Cards by December, 2016.

Funeral service for Mary Black, 93 yrs., a resident of Pirates Wells, Mayaguana who died on 2nd January, 2012, will be held at Deliverence Tabernacle, Sea Link Ave., Summer Haven, on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Alexander Missick, assisted by other Ministers of the Gospel. Interment follows in Pirates Well Cemetery, Mayaguana.
