Alleged ammo dealer remanded
An alleged ammunition dealer was yesterday remanded to prison.
Silas Thompson, 33, of Joe Farrington Road, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt regarding the seizure of almost 1,000 rounds of ammunition of diverse calibers on June 23.
Thompson was arrested in Bimini after police allegedly found the bullets on his boat.

Married couple charged in Freeport guns and ammunition seizure
A married couple suspected of dealing small arms appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt yesterday. Rajiv Dames, 31, and Katina Dames, 29, the parents of a four-year-old boy, were arrested on February 6 after police found a cache of weapons and ammunition inside an apartment in Grand Bahama.
