Another murder reported

Police last night reported that a woman was killed in the area of Charles Vincent Street, north of Cordeaux Av- enue yesterday.
Details were sketchy up to press time, but police press li- aison officer Inspector Chris- lyn Skippings said police got a call around 7:30 p.m. that a man and woman got into an altercation which ultimately resulted in her death.

Dear Editor,

Perry Christie said that the Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) did not boycott the opening of the national stadium.
If that is true, why didn't he insist that all of his parliamentary colleagues attend the event?

26th murder victim not killed in barber shop

POLICE have revealed that the country's 26th homicide victim was not stabbed in a barbershop as stated in their initial report.

This came after Metillus Chipman, owner of the "It Is What It Is Barber Shop and Lounge" on Robinson Road and Fourth Street, denied the police report, telling The Tribune that it has caused his business to suffer.
