Public schools swim focus necessary

The national swim program is obviously headed in the right direction.

Party took place on August 21st at Coral Beach in Freeport.  Each
summer the Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association organizes this family
favourite to raise funds. This year was deemed by those in attendance,
and from organizers, as the best ever!

SWIM TEAM THANKS RESORT FOR USE OF LAP POOL

MEMBERS of the Bahamas National Swim Team in Freeport have expressed their thanks to the Radisson Our Lucaya Beach and Golf Resort for being allowed to use the property's lap pool for the month of August.

The team had been displaced by the YMCA and had no where to train before the resort stepped in and made the offer.

Abaco Swim Club presents their 5K Open Water Swim to be held on Saturday October
2, 2010. Registration begins at 10:00am and swimming begins at
12:00.  We have added Kids mini races this year which will
begin at 1:00pm.

If you wish to enter the race as a non competitor
but wish to swim with snorkel and fin, this will be accepted as a
non rewarding swim, Come out and have

Barracuda's Win First Swim Meet

The Barracuda Swim Club (BSC) swam away with the top honors, over the weekend, winning the first long course swim meet on the Bahamas Swimming Federation's (BSF) calendar.

Over the two-day swim meet, the club accumulated 1,706 points, the Swift Swim Club was second with 1,094 points while the Dolphins Swimming Club totaled 535 points, two points ahead of the Sea Bees Swim Club. Team Orca closed...

Barracudas Dominate Swim Meet

THE Barracudas Swim Club posted a 612 point advantage over their nearest rival Swift as they dominated the Barracuda Invitational Swim Meet at Betty Kelly Kenning Aquatic Center over the weekend.
