SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- Korean Air, South Korea's biggest airline, said Friday it sank to a loss in the second quarter as a weak won swelled its fuel costs.
The carrier lost 233.1 billion won ($192 million) in the three months ended June 30 compared with a profit of 78.5 billion won a year earlier. Sales surged 36.7 per cent to 2.84 trillion won.
