Retrial ordered in amred robbery case

A judge ordered a retrial after a jury failed to reach a verdict in the armed robbery case of Clifford Miller this week.

School staff stop teen suicide attempt

A teenager's bid to commit suicide was thwarted by staff at Anatol Rodgers High School yesterday.

The 15-year-old is said to have tried to take his own life using a pair scissors but was quickly stopped by an administrator. However, he received some injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries and his condition are not known.
