Bahamas must focus on family island ecotourism initiatives

The Bahamas must do away with its current "broken model" of large tourism developments overly dependent on foreign direct investment (FDI) and instead "duplicate the successes" of fledgling ecotourism initiatives in the Family Islands, according to the head of a leading family island non-governmental organization (NGO).
