Man acquitted of armed robbery

A jury yesterday acquitted Eric Collie of armed robbery by a majority verdict.
Prosecutors alleged that Collie, 50, who was also known as Chump, robbed Rudea Pierre at gunpoint of an unknown sum on September 26, 2011.
