5 million BEC upgrades expected to lower electric bills

The Bahamas Electricity Corporation (BEC) spent about $5 million in the past six months upgrading the Clifton Pier Power Station in a bid to cut down on energy costs, BEC Executive Chairman Leslie Miller said yesterday.
