After spending two and a half years of middle school in Florida, Keith returned to the Bahamas where he completed high school and then attended the College of the Bahamas. Not too long after, he was recruited by a group of international scientists in Eleuthera, Bahamas as a Field Biologist. He resided on the pink sand island of Eleuthera for nearly two years.
Keith spent two semesters at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and continued his studies, graduating with his BSc. from the University of Minnesota (Twin-Cities) where he double-majored in Biology and Natural Resources, and minored in Chemistry. Intrigued by international energy policy, Keith then studied oversees in Moscow and Yaroslavyl, Russia for almost three months. He recalls his wide-exposure to Eastern European Living and the charm which these estates have. His work in Russia was honored at Macalaster College, and later published in the University of California-LA Journal of Slavic and East-Central European Studies.
