The Bahamas Bureau of Standards (BBS), a division of the Ministry of Financial Services, will sensitize the industry stakeholders on the importance and benefits of establishing and maintaining standardisations. Technical committees and working groups will also be organized to commence the work plan for the adoption of the following Regional standards as The Bahamas National Standards, inclusive of: Labelling of pre-packaged foods, Specification for packaged water, and Cement and Construction products.

Day 1 will be open to ALL Industry professionals, while Days 2 and 3 will be closed, in order to focus on forming the expert technical groups.
