IT'S YOUR SEASON FOR SHEDDING POUNDS!

Providence Rehabilitation Centre's Pilates Projet is a 16 hour progressive work out experience designed to challenge you to develop your body's core strength and flexibility through controlled movements, sustained contractions and deep breathing.

This 4 week program is intended for beginners only to increase familiarity with the practice of Pilates while toning, strengthening and burning fat.

Instructed by PRC`s very own Felicite Carroll, the Pilates project will whip you into shape just in time for the Christmas parties and New Years celebration.

November 12th - December 7th, 2012

Times:
Mondays 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Wednesday 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Fridays 6:30pm - 7:30pm

Cost:
$240 or 16 wellness units


Project Focus
Week 1: Fit Test & Pilates Introduction - a fitness test will be administred on day 1 to help you determine your current level of fitness. Throughout the week you will learn the basics of Pilates and the importants of proper breathing techniques!

Week 2: Pilates & Core Training - you will learn how to engage your core as you build fab abs and stronger lower backs. The essentials to living a life free of lower back pain and injury while promoting decreased fat around the belly!

Week 3: Pilates & Circuit Training - the intensity begins to increase as circuit training and weights are now integrated into your workouts. Focusing on full body toning as you cut the fat and improve your overall fitness!

Week 4: Pilates & Props - now that you are familiar with the basics of pilates and your strength & fitness has improved, it's time to take it up another level by integrating balls, bands and fitness circles into the mix. Experience a new challenge in your workouts and at end the week complete a final fitness test to see how much you have improved!
