Under the theme ?Flowers of The Caribbean,? The 2011/2012 Heart Ball Committee will jumpstart its Ball year, with its annual Tea Party and Fashion Show. The Fashion Show and Tea Party is slated to be held Sunday, November 20, 2011, at 2:30 pm, Government House. A donation of $35 per person is requested.

Teas from Beth?s Kitchen, Island Rose Tea, Passion Tea Ltd. and Twining Teas will be available to guests, along with iced tea. This fun-filled afternoon will consist of: a fashion show, a hat parade, a table decorating contest, fine teas, and hors d?oeuvres. Additionally, there will be an in-house raffle with prizes such as a round trip ticket for two on The Bohengy. The MC for the afternoon will be Miss Bodine Johnson. An exciting fashion show featuring seasonal pieces will be presented by BCBG Boutique. Additionally, there will be jewelry from Nadia Campbell Jewellery, and an art exhibit by Rick Carey. This afternoon promises to be filled with laughter, fun, prizes and surprises.

Being a non-profit organization, The Foundation relies heavily on the generosity of others to meet their goals. You are encouraged to give your support to these events and make a difference in the life of a child.

The Sir Victor Sassoon (Bahamas) Heart is a non-profit organization, established 50 years ago by Lady Evelyn Sassoon. The Heart Foundation aims to help to repair the hearts of children in The Bahamas, whose parents or guardians can not ordinarily afford heart care. The Heart Ball Committee is the fundraising arm of The Heart Foundation. Each year, The Heart Ball Committee hosts two major fundraising events: The Heart Ball and The Annual Tea Party / Fashion Show. These events generate funds that aid in the repair of children?s hearts. Next year?s Ball is scheduled for February 18, 2012.
