CONCACAF presents | Women's Football Day

The Bahamas Football Association will participate in CONCACAF?s Women?s Football Day initiative on Saturday, May 23, 2015 by organizing and hosting a 3v3 Tournament, Mother/Daughter Skills Challenge and Women?s Fair at the Roscoe A.L. Davies Field in the Q.E. Sports Centre. Designed to empower all CONCACAF Member Associations to join forces for an annual day of celebration of women?s football (soccer), the initiative is the first of its kind for the confederation.
The event is open to girls from ages 5 and up and will include the following elements:
? 3v3 Tournaments for various age groups
? A Mother/Daughter Skills Challenge
? Promotion of Women?s Football and Health by various organizations
? Former Women?s National Team Players and Female Youth National Team Players
CONCACAF Women?s Football Day is being held all throughout North America, Central America and the Caribbean. Kick-off time for the event around the region is 11 A.M., so we request that all participants arrive at 10 A.M. so that all individuals can be registered and prepared for the start of the event.
