Under the patronage of The Right Rev?d Laish Boyd, Sr. and Mrs. Boyd and in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Independence of The Bahamas, The Anglican Chorale and Friends will present a variety concert: ?A Celebration of Bahamian Composers and Musicians? at Christ Church Cathedral, George Street on Friday, 5th July, 2013, commencing at 8:00 p.m.

The concert promises to be an exciting one and will feature the works of Archibald Simms, Bishop Gilbert A. Thompson, Audrey Dean-Wright, Antonia Wilson, E. Clement Bethel, Darville ?Sonny? Walkine, Sonovia Pierre, Timothy Gibson, Alphonso ?Blind Blake? Higgs and Charles Lofthouse. The songs of Higgs and Lofthouse have been arranged for chorus by Jeffrey Sturrup.
