The Bahamas Hotel Industry Management Pension Fund became effective January 1st, 1980. The Management Fund is a trust fund and is used exclusively for the purpose of providing benefits to eligible employees , former employees and their beneficiaries or dependants and for financing the expenses of the operation and administration of the Pension Fund.

The Pension Plan is designed to help you better prepare for your future financial security once you stop working. Employer contributions and earnings on investments (if any) fund the Plan. You are neither required nor permitted to contribute to the Plan
