FORMERLY, Windsor Preparatory School, Windsor School: The Secondary 1 Program (Years 7-9) at Windsor School, seamlessly transitions from our Primary Program and provides excellence in curriculum and assessment. Our Secondary 1 Program employs learner-centered and enquiry-based approaches. The curriculum has been carefully designed to ensure our learners acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to advance in their educational careers. As learners progress, they experience more freedom to select academic subjects that are suited to them by either following a broad course of study or specializing in a particular area of interest or excellence. All of our programs are internationally relevant and sensitive to the needs of learners from varied cultures and backgrounds. In addition to providing our extensive secondary curriculum, formative and summative assessments are administered using progression tests.

The Secondary 2 Program (Years 10-11) offers the Bahamas General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE). The BGCSE is aligned with the Cambridge Secondary 2 IGCSE Curriculum and incorporates relevant cultural studies of The Bahamas. Windsor Preparatory Schools Secondary 2 Program continues to build upon the benefits and opportunities of our Secondary 1 Program. This secures learners with a solid foundation of knowledge and skills that will help them to excel in the Advanced Programs. Assessments for the Secondary 2 Program occur at the end of each course, and include written and oral coursework, as well as other practical strategies. Our assessment approach broadens opportunities for learners to demonstrate mastery of their knowledge and skills.
