The Central Bank of The Bahamas Art Gallery is proud to present selected works from its permanent collection as part of this year's 40th Anniversary of Independence Celebration. As an institution, The Central Bank of The Bahamas has dedicated itself to acquiring works both through its annual competitions and through independent acquisitions with a goal to create a collection that both supports the local art community as well as creating a collection that showcases the spectrum of creativity in The Bahamas.

The exhibition highlights important and early works by

*Lavar Munroe
*John Cox
*Erica James
*John Beadle
*Nicole Minnis
and a number of other Bahamian artists. This event is free and open to the public.
