The 4th annual St. Nick's at the Garden event was once again one of
Grand Bahama's premier events of the Christmas season. The arts and
crafts vendors presented their products and it gave early shoppers the
opportunity to stock up on truly authentic Bahamian Christmas gifts.

There was so much to do for the children and parents were dragged by

 

their
youngsters from face-painting to hoopla games, from pony rides to
puppies at the ever so popular booth of the Humane Society of Grand
Bahama...

Nassau Renaissance Singers, under the direction of Mrs Audrey Dean -
Wright held two performances at Government House Ballroom in Nassau. 
Under the distinguished patronage of Their Excellences the Governor
General Sir Arthur and Lady Foulkes, the choir presented "A Concert
for Christmas" on December 11th and 12th.  At the conclusion of the
concert the audience was invited to join the singers for wine and conversation.

 

Over the years, the Renaissance Singers have ushered in the traditional
annual Christmas festivities for many in The Bahamas...

(Photos) Audience thrilled with performances at 'Many Moods of Christmas'

The Freeport News: The Freeport Player's Guild brought the spirit of
Christmas to the island of Grand Bahama featuring many tunes and moods
in their annual production, this year, themed Many Moods of Christmas.

Hosted at the Regency Theatre, the 2011 musical spectacular opened with
guests being welcomed by president of the Freeport Player's Guild,
Olivia Dorsett, who shared a pre-written Christmas message in the
programs.

"It is truly a pleasure to welcome you all to the Regency Theatre as we
enter the holiday season with our presentation of Many Moods of

was a beautiful evening, and very well attended by supporters.  In fact it was
sold out.  Ball chairman, Mrs Saskia d'Aguilar was very pleased in the
success of their efforts.

his Excellency Sir Arthur Foulkes and Lady Foulkes, and with the Deputy
