Coach Sam Nichols, retired Hall of Fame Head Women's Basketball Coach at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas, will be coming to The Bahamas again this year, for the 16th Annual Basketball Smiles Basketball Camp. A wounded policeman chased his assailants after he was shot, a Supreme Court jury heard yesterday.
Maurice Armbrister and Excel Josey are on trial for the April 10, 2013 attempted murder of Superintendent Clayton Fernander during a failed bid to rob him of his gold chain outside his home in Fairview Heights.

Man found dead, shot multiple times
Police discovered a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the head in the South Beach pools area Thursday night.

The naked body of a woman was found floating in waters off Montagu Beach around 7:20 a.m. Friday, police said.
