Grenade thrown into Punch building

The police force's bomb squad detonated a hand grenade that was found in The Punch Publications Limited building on Farrington Road, late Monday night.
Officers responding to the building's alarm, which was activated around 11:45 p.m., met the entrance door smashed in, police said.

PUNCH editor and publisher Ivan Johnson and two women were granted $7,000 bail yesterday after being arraigned in a Magistrate's Court charged with making a false declaration.
