BEC hits back at PLP 'load shedding' claims

THE Bahamas Electricity Corporation (BEC) has hit back at PLP chairman Bradley Roberts, insisting that recent power cuts were the result of equipment challenges and not pre-planned load shedding exercises.

PLP to set up two committees amid continuing party unrest

DUE to continuing unrest within the party, the National General Council of the PLP voted last night to establish two committees to review the nominations of Nurses Union President Cleola Hamilton in South Beach, and attorney Dion Smith in the Kennedy constituency.

PLP urges gov't to scale back on stadium opening ceremony
