FIREMEN extinguished a blaze at an 11-room Pinewood Gardens home in less than 10 minutes.

The owner of the single-story stone structure was changing a light bulb in the southwestern bedroom when the electrical fixture shocked him. The man dropped the bulb on the mattress, which caught fire. The bedroom was said to have received extensive fire damage.
