Coral Windows was formed in England in 1990 and is still one of the largest window and door manufactures in the North of England. Stuart Price a former partner left the company back in late 2003 to open a company in Freeport Grand Bahamas. Although faced with many challenges opening a manufacturing plant in another country, it was not long into 2004 before Coral Windows Bahamas Ltd was manufacturing Windows and Doors in their then 6000 sq. ft. factory on Milton Street Freeport.

Huge investments Where made in sourcing products from all around the world that would withstand the test of time in a very active hurricane zone and cruel salt air environment. In late 2004 Grand Bahama was severely hit by back to back hurricanes and although our products escaped with minimum damage the experience gained was priceless.

Thousands of dollars can be spent on the best hurricane windows available, but products will fail miserably if they are installed incorrectly. Large Investments where made in bringing trained installers from the UK to share their experience with local Bahamians.

The decision was made that to enable Coral Windows to give a five-year warranty on all their products they must be installed by trained Coral Windows installers. Now nine years later, Coral Windows has installed over 2500 jobs in and around The Bahamas, and has expanded their operation into a 23,000 sq. ft. factory and proudly show off their products in a 2000 sq. ft. showroom.
