It was a warm summer evening in June 2011 when Larry Farrington, CEO & President of Superior Manufacturing Company Limited (SMCL), was a patron in a local establishment.

He was enjoying himself and having a relaxing time when a fellow customer ordered a cup of ice for his beverage.

The server obliged the gentleman?s request and took a clean plastic cup scooped up some ice and then disposed of the cup. It was at this precise moment that a light bulb went off in Larry?s head. He often says that the idea came to him in a ?flash?.

The vision of producing plastic cups and other plastic items (bowls, plates, shot glasses and condiments holders, etc.) in The Bahamas was born. This moment marked the beginning of his dream. A dream that would take four years to come to fruition. With the help of God, his dream became a reality in November 2015...
