We are a non-profit outreach ministry of the Bahamas Conference of the Methodist Church that focuses on being a catalyst through disaster response and the promotion of community within The Bahamas. It's much more than simply fixing roofs and floors.

We firmly believe that we are each both rich and poor in our lives and it takes all of us to build up each other as we connect resources with needs. We serve communities in need immediately after natural disasters and on a year round basis with families in need of emergency home repair.

We have been deeply rooted in Eleuthera since 1992 and have now expanded onto eight other islands throughout the country as well the Turks and Caicos, Haiti, the United States. We are based out of Camp Symonette in James Cistern, Eleuthera where 70% of our 1,000+ volunteers will be joining us in service to others in 2015 as we facilitate true changes in the lives of our volunteers and those we serve. Our other volunteers will be serving communities in North and South Eleuthera, as well as our ongoing relationships in Nassau.

We are dependent on our volunteers and donors to support our service to others and invite all to be a part of the good work that is being done on a daily basis through Bahamas Methodist Habitat.
