What?s a Guided Running Tour?


It?s a tourism running experience that offers runners who travel for leisure or business the chance to discover and learn about a city's history and landmarks with a local Guide runner, without interrupting their training in progress.
 


Types of Tours
There are two available options that Bahamas Running Tours offer: group or personalized Running Tours. Personalized Running Tours are usually designed to start from the lobby of the customers hotel and offer them the chance to see the sights that interest them the most, while running at their own pace; Group Running Tours start from Rawson Square, Downtown Nassau and are run at a moderate running pace with runners who have shown up on the day.

Our Guides
Our guides will provide you with unique and local insights on historical landmarks throughout the city. Learn about Nassau?s architecture, famous citizens, accomplishments and hot spots. Our guides will make sure you?re safe while keeping you motivated.
Our routes are customizable; although we offer 5, and 10k distances, we will gladly detour to explain other landmarks upon request.

Our Routes
Downtown Nassau is full of fantastic sights of historical and architectural significance. Our moderately hilly 5 and 10k routes will both include Rawson Square, Fort Fincastle, The National Art Museum, The Graycliff Restaurant, Government House, Christ Church Cathedral, Pirates of Nassau Museum, The British Colonial Hotel, Nassau?s Straw Market, Woodes Rogers Walk and Parliament Square.
The 10k route will continue east through the media district of Dowdeswell Street, through the Eastern Parade Park across the bridge to Paradise Island. Stunning views of Paradise Island, Atlantis, Harbourside resort, can be seen from this bridge. Once on Paradise Island, we continue through the Marina Village Shopping area and circle around to run across the bridge to Nassau. After that it?s a flat cruise west down Bay St. returning to Rawson Square.

Group Tours*
5k $20 per person
10k $30 per person

*2 or more runners are considered a group. 10 person maximum. Tours will begin at a set location. Groups will be determined by pace. Group tours will take place at 6:15 a.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Groups will run along a fixed route. Please arrive in Rawson Square 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.

Additional runners are $10 per person. We will set up a meeting location convenient to you. We will run at your pace, and customize our tour to the sights you want to visit.
