WHAT IS BAHAMASLOCAL.COM? is a business directory and “information portal” for The Bahamas. provides business listings, real estate listings, classifieds, movie listings, and news to our website users. It is the most powerful internet-based source of local information in The Bahamas.

The business model of is built upon provided valuable & free information that creates traffic from users. In turn, we then provide paid & premium advertising placements throughout our website.

We are seeking to hire OSRs that will help us to sell these premium advertising placements.


Be a part of selling a cutting edge internet advertising medium, new to the Bahamian market.

We will provide the following:

• In-house training
• Marketing support
• Billing support
• Administrative support
• Company Shirts
• Sales Materials
• Dedicated or shared office space


• Collaborate with Operations Manager to generate new sales and maintain current advertising clients.
• Generate sales/leads from multiple sources; including cold calling, in-person visits, telephone campaigns, email campaigns, and direct mail campaigns.
• Make independent sales presentations and close new sales (presentation materials will be provided by
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by
• Keep a record of all of your sales/prospecting activities.
• Meet a monthly sales quota.
• Attend staff/sales meetings at reasonable intervals.


• Previous sales experience; telecom/technology sales preferable.
• Ability to implement creative methods of generating and maintaining new business
• Demonstrated work ethic
• Proficiency using Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and the Internet.
• Previous experience in Internet Marketing a plus.


The OSR is required to maintain a monthly quota of new sales.


The OSR will be paid a training stipend, as well as higher commissions during the first 3 months of their sales cycle.

After training and probation, the OSR will receive a competitive commission on all of their closed sales, as well as future commissions from their clients.
