The HDA represents junior physicians employed under the Public Hospital Authority and the Ministry of Health therefore we have members in Grand Bahama and many of the Family Islands.
The HDA which was started by the present Minister of Health, Dr. Bernard Nottage, is still a thriving organization.
Presently the executive's focus is to make an impact in the community. We would like physicians to be viewed as the caring, intelligent and dedicated people we truly are through our involvement in many community outreach projects.
