The Bahamas Environment, Science & Technology Commission also known as the BEST Commission was established in 1994.

The BEST Comission manages the implementation of multilateral environment agreements and review environmental impact assessments and environmental management plans for development projects within The Bahamas.

The BEST Commission is located in the heart of the Business District of historic Nassau at Nassau Court which is a designated national historic site.

Here a team of scientific experts coordinate the review of commercial, industrial, and residential development projects to be considered by the Government of The Bahamas.
