We offer large (825 sf, min), clean, lovely, 2-bedroom suites in a historic stone building originally built for the first premier of the Bahamas. Our inn is family owned and has a total of 7 suites. Each suite has two bedrooms, a large living room, kitchen, dining area and large bathroom. They are fully air conditioned and feature a king-size bed in the master bedroom, two twin-size beds in the second bedroom, a fold-out sofa in the living room, fully equipped kitchen with microwave, gas stove and oven, pots/pans, dishes, utensils and coffee maker, balcony, free wifi, satellite-fed television, DVD player and in room safe.

Hut Pointe Inn is the only eco-friendly hotel on the island of Eleuthera. All of our water comes from rainwater harvesting, we use passive solar for hot water, our utility room uses solar and is "off the grid" and we also have a backup generator. Power is sometimes not reliable on the island and we do everything possible to reduce our use, while still maintaining high standards for comfort and convenience. We also have a large, organic garden on the property and our guests are encouraged to use the vegetables that are ready, free of charge. We use only environmentally friendly cleaning products, low allergen linens, water saving toilets and shower heads and LED light bulbs. We feel that we don't have to skimp on comfort by being environmentally friendly and our suites are the largest, cleanest and best equipped rooms for the money on the island.

Historic Hut Pointe is centrally located 8 minutes from Governor's Harbour and 8 minutes from the airport, an ideal location for those wanting to explore the entire Island. Most importantly, Hut Pointe has wonderful views and is literally a few minutes walk to the beautiful, deserted, pink sand beaches of Eleuthera. Have a great vacation!
