Considered one of the top creative graphic designers in The Bahamas, Benjamin-Smith has designed work for numerous local and off-shore companies in The Bahamas. She is also considered a unique visual artist in the medium of printmaking and digital media. Benjamin-Smith has won scholarships and awards for her artistic and design ability and also graduated with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design where she obtained a BFA degree in Graphic Design. Dionne has participated in group exhibitions in The Bahamas, the U.S., the U.K. and Germany and her work can be found in private collections around the world.
