Ebb Tide is Hope Town's most established gift shop. First opened by Byrle and Jack Patterson in 1974 the Ebb Tide has been in three locations: the house now known as Hummingbird Gallery, the house of Reginald and Beulah Malone (behind the Hope Town clinic) and now just recently opened in the ground floor of the historic Wyannie Malone Museum.

Ebb Tide is owned and run by Debbie and Stafford Patterson, who pride themselves on bringing together an assortment of true local crafts, art and other goods. Ebb Tide has the largest selection of books on the island.
