Teens charged with robbing Mahogany House

Police have charged two teenagers in connection with last week's armed robbery of Mahogany House.
Harrison Petty III, 18, of Antigua Street, and a 17-year-old appeared before Magistrate Andrew Forbes on Monday on four counts of armed robbery.

Mahogany Hill hotel construction set to employ 100 by early 2014

The construction of Mahogany Hill, a high-end boutique hotel set for western New Providence, is nearly 25 percent complete and is "on schedule", with around 100 people expected to be employed at the site by early 2014.

Ministry of Public Works paving Mahogany Street

Several residents of Malcolm Allotment are celebrating the fact that the Ministry of Public Works is paving Mahogany Street, which they claimed had not been paved in over 15 years.
Kendra Higgs, who has resided on Mahogany Street for the past 12 years, pointed out recently that her street is frequently used when the main Pinewood road, Sapodilla Boulevard, is flooded.
