Filipino engineer in apparent suicide death

POLICE are investigating the apparent suicide death of a 31-year-old Filipino engineer, it was reported yesterday.

Charlie Bugtong was found by a family member hanging from a tree at Village Road north early yesterday morning.

According to police, Mr Bugtong was wearing brown and white striped pants. There were no neck injuries.

Up to press time, police did not suspect foul play.
