Woman jailed for five years

A woman who unsuccessfully challenged the validity of her plea agreement was sentenced to five years in prison on Friday.

Shukuanya Thompson, 41, in January, lost a bid to have her guilty pleas to stealing close to $180,000 from the National Insurance Board quashed.
