"Good Samaritan" Senior Citizen's Home

As a nursing student at the University of The Bahamas, I was given an assignment that required me to observe the environment at "Good Samaritan" Senior Citizen's Home. Upon calling the home, I introduced myself as a nursing student at the university of the bahamas but, before I could finished my sentence I was cut off. The receptionist said, in a vile and disgusting tone, "that it was to early for this!" and hanged up. Now, seeing as this is a home for the elderly and they claim to be a professional institution, the well being of the attends are to be of great concern. If an outsider that's merely calling is disrespected in such a manner, are the elderly treated in the same manner or perhaps worst? Are their basic needs being met? Is the environment clean? It's also to be assumed that if this kind of behavior is practice, then there is a high chance that the elders are being abuse. If anyone takes the time to read reviews on this website, I would be very careful about this 'home' because it does not live up to its name. There's a lot you can tell from just one phone call.
