Sales Associate Rhonda Waton brings an intimate knowledge of the sea through family roots stretching back through centuries in Abaco and Spanish Wells, and from a great deal of personal experience. Before joining HGChristie in 2004, Rhonda was associated with BASRA (Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association) first as a volunteer, then as a rescue specialist, and then as Control Officer and Office Manager. Rhonda achieved certification in Terrestrial Navigation with The Bahamas School of Marine Navigation, As part of her responsibilities for BASRA, she worked hand-in-hand with the United States Coast Guard, US Naval liaison to the Bahamas, the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, and the Royal Bahamas Police Force, locating and organizing rescue of a lost loved one at sea, tracking down a relative sailing in the islands, or guiding a lost fisherman home. Born in Nassau, but with a rich heritage from Abaco and Spanish Wells, Rhonda attended St. Andrew's School, moving to Canada for several years. She then returned to Nassau to attend St. Augustine's College.
