Police were last night searching for the assailant who fired several shots through the bathroom window of a Pinewood Gardens home late Tuesday, killing a man.
The man was shot to the head, according to police.
Superintendent Paul Rolle, officer-in-charge of the Central Detective Unit (CDU), said the victim was standing near the window of his home on Sequoia Street around 11 p.m. when he was shot.
A woman was also in the home at the time, but police said she was unharmed.
Rolle asked anyone with information about the incident to contact police.
This marked the seventh murder to take place in the country for the year.
Two men were shot and killed on Abaco last weekend. Police were trying to determine if those two murders were connected.
