The MasterCard Priceless Bahamas program and the Ministry of Tourism presented three local businesses - Bahamasair, John Bull and the former Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort with merchant incentive awards for achieving the highest volume of MasterCard sales in the 2013 Priceless Bahamas program.

“Our participating merchants are the heart and soul of the Priceless Bahamas program. stated Lorena Holguin, VP of Marketing for the Caribbean. The merchant incentive reward is just one way MasterCard demonstrates its commitment to the Priceless Bahamas program and the merchants that drive its success.”

In 2013, the Priceless Bahamas program consisted of 56 participating merchants with more than 70 locations in New Providence and Paradise Island. Participating merchants represented a range of categories including culinary, sports, lodging, travel, arts and culture and shopping.

The program, which has been successfully active in The Bahamas since 2009, readies to launch the 2014 program which will include expansion to Grand Bahama Island. "The exceptional performance by Bahamasair, John Bull & the former Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort demonstrate their commitment to giving their customers added value through the MasterCard Priceless Bahamas program," stated Anthony Stuart, General Manager, Ministry of Tourism. "Not only have these businesses benefited from a better bottom line, but they have enhanced the Bahamian experience for the visitors and locals that patronized them." Priceless Bahamas will continue to offer MasterCard cardholders unique experiences and exclusive benefits through a series of special offers designed to enhance the visitor experience.

The Bahamas is one of only 10 destinations worldwide chosen to participate in MasterCard’s Priceless Cities global platform. Other participating destinations include New York, Beijing and London.
