The Miami Carnival was held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 and it did not go off without the presence of two of our Bahamian Sons wowing the crowd of 50,000. Julien Believe and his Caribbean Slide dancers did a mini concert and Rake and Scrape artist Stileet gave them an authentic taste of our Bahamaland.

The crowd watched in amazement as Julien Believe and his Caribbean Slide Dancers led by Bullet JustDance performed the songs, ‘Dance with You’, ‘Bring Me to Life’, ‘Love You Forever’ and the now international hit ‘The Caribbean Slide’ Line Dance.

Stileet sang his famous rake and scrape songs ‘Pie’ and ‘We Rake n’ We Scrapin’. He had the crowd moving to our Bahamian Beat.

The two groups also performed at the famous Bahamian restaurant, ‘The Bahamian Connection’ where Julien and the Caribbean Slide team did a flash mob stopping traffic outside the restaurant, drawing persons in to listen to good Bahamian music.

Julien took a team of 22 persons inclusive of his Manager, Veda West-Moss and his videographer, Kendal ‘Epic’ Butler. Stileet also had his team of five persons and the Bahamians in the crowd all said they were proud.

We would like to thank Alisa, Tony, Mario, Phillip and Ricardo for believing in Bahamian Artists.

See you next year!!!
