Police Uncover Shotgun at East Bay Street - A 12 gauge shotgun along with a quantity of shotgun shells was confiscated by police on Thursday 1st August, 2013.

Offices of the Central Division acting on information went to a property at East Bay Street where they uncovered the items.

No arrests were made in connection with this incident. Active police investigations continue.

Police Make Firearm Arrest - A 53 year old female is in police custody after being found in possession of a handgun and ammunition.

Firefighters discovered the weapon and ammunition around 3:47pm on Wednesday 31st July, 2013 after extinguishing a building fire at Peter Street and Baillou Hill Road. Active police investigations continue.
