The spear fishing segment took place between 8am – 3pm. All lionfish were caught free-diving with Hawaiian spear/sling or pole spear. All lionfish were cleaned during our new fish cleaning competition. The fish was then distributed to the (4) competing chefs. Chefs had between 5pm – 6pm to create a lionfish dish for our panel of judges to sample/score. Samples of the Lionfish as well as our famous cocktail, THE STINGER (made with Booya Tequila), were available for guests to try for FREE.
